We just started two experiments (gene expansion) on two different datasets (rnaseq, riboseq). There will be a total of about 140k workunits (2x tasks), each one relatively fast, distributed in batches.

Our BOINC wrappers were already prepared on running the config but we missed a file change a long time ago. With the hint of the user CallMeFoxie and testing of user DeleteNull we are now prepared to run such a config on windows and linux except Intel ARC cards.

The big update is planned on Friday this week.

This afternoon PrimeGrid experienced an unplanned outage. For reasons unknown, the database locked up and started consuming 100% CPU on all 32 cores, while doing nothing at all. We proceeded cautiously, not wanting to risk damaging the database, and slowly shut down the system, checked the database, and brought everything back up. Everything is back to normal, and the servers are operating once again.
