A bluescreen crashed the server. The good thing, the database survived, In logfile found system_service_exception ntoskrnl.exe 0x0000003b and ran a chkdsk and sfc /scannow, something was repaired with chkdsk.

The bad thing, I dont know exactly whats causing this problem, driver or SSD.

The app divides the number 607920 / 51 = 11920. The gwnum lib has a bug somewhere and the dev is informed.

At the moment only S51 is affected.

Base S51 will be stopped for the time being after 35-37k is done, the tests are correct with the divided numbers but primes cant be removed from the sievefile.

All affected tests must be convert to the correct values. This takes time.

Effective immediately, PrimeGrid has apps for the following sub-projects for the new hardware: Native Apple M1/M2 ARM CPU apps are available on GFN-17 through GFN-22. Native M1/M2 GPU apps are available on GFN-16 through GFN-22 as well as DYFL. Intel ARC GPU apps are available on GFN-16 through GFN-22 as well as DYFL. Within the infrastructure problems are the needs for mass data storage.

We need an LTO drive or LTO library.
Alternatively, LTO tapes themselves may also be useful.

The preferred LTO generation is LTO4 or LTO5.

If anyone has any in their storeroom/basement/garage :) we are happy to accept this type of equipment for our own needs.

Perhaps it is just taking up unnecessary space at someone's place.

Further to an earlier announcement, we are planning to add the iThena.Computational project to GridCoin.

However, the possible final date for adding iThena.Computational to GridCoin is not yet known.

Soon the iThena GRAPH tasks will be finished. Currently, we are not generating new GRAPH tasks - however, we are planning to update the GRAPH application and add Windows support for the HEX application.

The above changes apply to the iThena.Computational subproject.
