Effective immediately, PrimeGrid has apps for the following sub-projects for the new hardware: Native Apple M1/M2 ARM CPU apps are available on GFN-17 through GFN-22. Native M1/M2 GPU apps are available on GFN-16 through GFN-22 as well as DYFL. Intel ARC GPU apps are available on GFN-16 through GFN-22 as well as DYFL. Discussion about the new apps can be found on our Discord server, or in this forum thread.

For the ninth and final challenge of the 2022 Series, we want to end the year BIG. Like, World Record big. In effort to top GIMPS's 24,000,000 digit behemoth, we're running a 10-day challenge on the DYFL subproject, as well as on GFN-21 and GFN-22. Within the infrastructure problems are the needs for mass data storage.

We need an LTO drive or LTO library.
Alternatively, LTO tapes themselves may also be useful.

The preferred LTO generation is LTO4 or LTO5.

If anyone has any in their storeroom/basement/garage :) we are happy to accept this type of equipment for our own needs.

Perhaps it is just taking up unnecessary space at someone's place.

Further to an earlier announcement, we are planning to add the iThena.Computational project to GridCoin.

However, the possible final date for adding iThena.Computational to GridCoin is not yet known.

Soon the iThena GRAPH tasks will be finished. Currently, we are not generating new GRAPH tasks - however, we are planning to update the GRAPH application and add Windows support for the HEX application.

The above changes apply to the iThena.Computational subproject.

We are currently implementing the iThena HEX application.
This application is now available for Linux 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.

We plan to add support for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit platforms in the near future.

The iThena HEX application has quorum=2 (verification by wingman).

We will currently stop generating new tasks in the iThena GRAPH application. This application will be modified. Current tasks (also available in the queue on the server) will be available normally.
No new tasks will be generated for iThena GRAPH until the tasks are updated.

We plan to integrate the iThena.Computational project with GridCoin.

The iThena.Measurements project has a lot of problems (frequent storage issue) and on root.ithena.net at this time it is not possible.

The integration of iThena.Computational with GridCoin also automatically forces us to improve system availability (the system must be online).

As I inform recently in other topic we have planned maintenance break for CAMK power transform replacement on this weekend.
Our server will be switched off today (25.11) till Monday, 28.11.

I hope this change will go smoothly and we come back to normal work on Monday morning/afternoon.
